At this stage in the FIFA 2010 World Cup proceedings, most England fans would probably settle for a guaranteed place in the final of the sporting spectacle. But England manager Fabio Capello has gone a step further - and is now discussing who he would like to face in the World Cup final, reports the Press Association (PA). He tells the newswire of his affinity with Italian coach Marcello Lippi and his own desire to see England face his home nation in the final. "I would sign immediately for a final between Italy and England, as said by Lippi, with whom I have a good rapport," Capello is quoted as saying. His comments came during a visit to Parma University, during which he addressed students of the academic institution. Students of the betting books might consider a punt on England and Italy for the final, with odds as long as 25/1 available - however, the favourites Spain and Brazil are the hottest tip at between 7/1 and 11/1 at the online bookmakers.
